At the Hylton Performing Arts Center and across all Mason Arts venues, we value clear and open communication with our patrons. As part of this commitment, we strive to explain all ticket fees and their purpose—so patrons feel informed and confident every step of the way.
Non-subscription orders: When ordering individual event tickets by phone or online, a service charge is applied to help cover credit card processing and support costs of our ticketing platform:
- For tickets priced $20.00 or less – $4.00 per ticket
- For tickets priced $20.01 to $60.00 – $5.00 per ticket
- For tickets priced $60.01 or more – $6.00 per ticket
For Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, American Roots Series, and Matinee Idylls season subscribers, a one-time per season $15 subscriber fee is applied to all subscription orders, which helps to offset the cost of credit card processing and postage for mailed subscriber packets. As a benefit of paying the one-time fee, the Ticket Office waives per-ticket fees and any fees related to ticket exchanges throughout the season.
