The financial and volunteer support of the Friends of the Hylton Center makes it possible to present first-class performing arts from across the world and around the corner. The Friends of the Hylton Center provide critical support to keep ticket prices accessible and affordable for all who wish to attend. The continued and enthusiastic support of the Friends enables the Hylton Center to be creative commons for the region.

Membership Benefits

Memberships begin at $125, extend to the entire household, and include:

  • Early access to ticket sales before the public
  • Admittance to the Friends-only refreshment area during Hylton Presents performances
  • Exclusive invitations to special events
  • Opportunities to volunteer

Friend ($125 - $199, fully tax-deductible):

  • Access to the Friends Hospitality Area during Hylton Presents performances

Contributor ($200 - $299, $30 Cost of Benefits):

  • All benefits listed under Friend
  • Two complimentary beverage coupons for Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, American Roots Series, or Hylton Center EXTRA!  performances
  • Invitations to backstage tour opportunities

Patron ($300 - $499, $50 Cost of Benefits):

  • All benefits listed under Contributor
  • Invitation to Gallery Reception events
  • Two additional complimentary beverage coupons for Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, American Roots Series, or Hylton Center EXTRA!  performances

Advocate($500 - $999, $70 Cost of Benefits):

  • All benefits listed under Patron
  • A private backstage tour for two (upon request)
  • Invitation to one Copper Circle experience

 

Copper Circle

The Copper Circle of the Friends of the Hylton Center includes individuals and businesses whose generous philanthropic impact has made the Hylton Center the creative commons for the region. Members receive exclusive benefits and opportunities in appreciation of their generous support.

Sponsor ($1,000 - $2,499, $150 Cost of Benefits):

  • All benefits listed under Advocate
  • Invitation to the Annual Copper Circle Dinner and Appreciation Events
  • Copper Circle Membership Pin
  • Access to the Lovey Hammel Lounge during Hylton Presents performances
  • Concierge ticket and seating assistance
  • Recognition on the Didlake Grand Foyer Marquee Listing
  • A copy of the Hylton Center Annual Report with a letter from the Executive Director

Benefactor ($2,500 - $4,999, $250 Cost of Benefits):

  • All benefits listed under Sponsor
  • A backstage meet and greet with an artist (upon request and subject to availability)
  • Invitation to VIP events
  • Gift Membership to the Hylton Center or the Center for the Arts ($125 value) to keep or give as a gift
  • Recognition in the George Mason University President’s Circle and invitation to all President’s Circle events

Sustainer ($5000+, $500 Cost of Benefits):

  • All benefits listed under Benefactor
  • Invitation to our sister venue, the Center for the Arts Season Announcement and backstage tours
  • Invitation to Hylton Salon events
