The Hylton Center's success as the "creative commons" of this dynamic region—presenting world-class performances and creating a welcoming environment of learning and sharing artistic experiences—is only made possible through the support of donors.
Ticket sales cover just a part of the cost of bringing the magic to the Hylton Center, which means we must rely on the generosity of people like you to ensure the Hylton Center is able to Entertain, Educate, and Enrich our community for years to come!
Supporters like you have made transformational work in the arts possible, including:
- A diverse season of engaging artists from around the world and around the corner through the Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Hylton Center EXTRA!, Matinee Idylls, American Roots Series, programming from the Hylton Center’s Arts Alliance, and an ever-growing calendar of performances.
- Educational programming, such as field trip performances for local school students, Arts Alive! – our region’s only free, family-friendly arts festival, and Buchanan Partners Art Gallery Exhibitions and receptions
- The Veterans and the Arts Initiative, featuring day-long arts celebrations and hands-on guitar, poetry, and art workshops, are free and designed with Veterans, Servicemembers, military family members, and military caregivers in mind.
- Increased access to the arts for patrons of all abilities through enhanced accessibility initiatives, which include specialized programming for patrons with sensory-related needs and community outreach programs centering on diversity, empathy, and understanding.
