The Hylton Performing Arts Center believes that children should experience the arts early and often.
That's why we offer performances designed for children, offer half-price Hylton Presents tickets for kids, and designate the performances most suitable for all ages as family friendly.
Children and youth through Grade 12 get half-price tickets for any Hylton Presents event. Students in Grades 9 through 12 may attend an event without an adult, but must have a student ID.

Patrons who have different sensory needs can now request a Sensory Kit for use during Hylton Center performances. Adult and child-safe Sensory Kits can be checked out at the Ticket Office prior to performances.
Child Policies
All performances require a ticket for every person in the theater. This includes children, no matter what age. Children are welcome at any Family Friendly performance and those in Grades 8 and under must always be accompanied by an adult. Parental discretion is advised for some performances that may not be suitable for young children.
For Hylton Family Series only: All patrons must have a ticket. Children under the age of two who are held by an adult and do not occupy a seat may receive a lap ticket free of charge.
