When stepping into the lobby of the Hylton Center, one of the first things you may notice before the lights dim or the doors open, is a warm welcome from our Friends of the Hylton Center at the membership table.
These passionate volunteers dedicate their time to serving as ambassadors for our mission, bridging the gap between a patron and the impact of their generosity. Through checking guests into the Lovey Hammel Lounge, answering questions at the Friends membership table in the lobby, fostering community engagement for our Education Initiative, and in countless other ways, our volunteers are eager to share their passion for the arts and admiration for the Hylton Center.
Hylton Center volunteers have the unique opportunity to help inspire others to develop their appreciation for the arts. As our way of saying thank you, Hylton volunteers are invited to enjoy the performance for which they volunteer—on us! It is our hope that while experiencing the extraordinary performances that grace our stages, volunteers feel energized and empowered to share this feeling with others.
