The Hylton Performing Arts Center's memorable performances and impactful initiatives are possible thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors. While annual gifts are a wonderful way to support us today, many donors are discovering that planned giving is a powerful way to leave a legacy.
The Hylton Center has already seen the direct impact of a planned gift within its walls. The Koko H. Beetle Classroom, named in the estate plans of an anonymous donor, provides a space for community members to immerse themselves in the arts. When asked about their decision, the donor simply stated, "You can't take it with you...we are really happy with what we have...and someone else can have the rest."
Planned giving provides an opportunity to make a more meaningful impact than a traditional donation, securing the Hylton Center’s long-term future and ensuring we can continue to bring the arts to our community for years to come. As Director of Development Carolyn Hays says, “Planned gifts are the ultimate investment in our mission. They give us the power to not just sustain, but to grow and innovate for generations.”
You can direct a planned gift to any of the Hylton Center’s programs, including the Veterans and the Arts Initiative and the Education Initiative, or contribute to the Hylton Center Endowment.
By including the Hylton Center in your long-term financial or estate plans at any giving level, you will be inducted into our Legacy Society. Members of the Legacy Society receive special invitations to events and gatherings, public recognition for their generosity, and the chance to engage with fellow supporters. Including the Hylton Center in your long-term financial or estate plans is a powerful way to make a lasting impact and secure the future of the arts in our community.
If you have included the Hylton Center in your estate plans, please let us know. This ensures we can honor your intentions and use your gift exactly as you intended when it is received.
