  • Improv for Military Kids (10/2–23): Join this four-week virtual series designed for military kids and teenagers to learn improv skills in a virtual, collaborative environment.
  • Coffee Mandala Workshop (10/5): In this meditative workshop, discover how to use coffee in Mandala designs to create monochromatic artwork with different shades of browns. No previous experience in art is required.
  • Eco-Graphic Arts: Cyanotype with Watercolor Workshop (10/19): Workshop techniques feature cyanotypes (sun prints) with watercolor and include the use of locally sourced natural materials and plants.

We also invite you to join us for these concerts that are free to Veterans and Servicemembers:

  • A Salute to Veterans: The U.S. Army Concert Band (11/7): The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” collaborates with George Mason University’s Veterans and the Arts Initiative to present a program of stirring anthems and beloved classics. Tickets are free and available through the Hylton Center Ticket Office and online.
  • Mandy Gonzalez in Concert (11/9): Enjoy an evening of Broadway songs, film scores, and music from a voice that “has potency even the most revered divas would envy” (City Pulse). This proud daughter of a Veteran inspires through vocal prowess and positivity.
