Chloé Arnold's Syncopated Ladies LIVE

We’re excited to share that subscriptions for the Hylton Center 2024–25 season are on sale now—and to paraphrase our Executive Director Rick Davis—this is our favorite season yet! We’ve truly brought together some of the best local, national, and international artists in what is as much a celebration of talent as it is a season. Our Hylton Presents series brings back some of our favorites, including the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra with Jeff Hamilton (10/5), Chanticleer (12/1), Seán Heely (12/15), the American Festival Pops Orchestra (12/13 and 5/17), Jeffrey Siegel (3/2), and Chloé Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies LIVE (3/22)! And of course, we’re also bringing you artists who are brand new to our stage, like Broadway darling Mandy Gonzalez (11/9), whose credits include leading roles in Hamilton, In the Heights, and Wicked. Cirque Kalabanté: Afrique en Cirque (11/16–17) debuts at the Hylton with a unique fusion of African arts and European circus traditions, while Artists-in-Residence and the GRAMMY Award-winning Villalobos Brothers (10/26) redefine contemporary Mexican music while delivering positive messages of brotherhood, equity, and love. Classical music fans will delight in the Czech National Symphony Orchestra (2/23), and many more wonderful artistic offerings are just waiting to be discovered this season by patrons like you!

Our American Roots Series is your best bet for a taste of Americana: bluegrass, country, blues, and more, served up in our intimate Gregory Family Theater. If you’re a Friend of the Hylton Center and enjoyed Graham Breedlove’s performance at our recent 2024–25 Season Announcement event, you know his concert of New Orleans-inflected music is not-to-be-missed (1/25)! Check out the rest of the series lineup, which is equally compelling.

The Matinee Idylls series offers cozy afternoon concerts followed by a coffee and dessert reception with the artists. The Erinys Quartet (10/16) kicks of this series with heavenly string music; Virginia Opera: A Taste of Opera (2/5) returns with operatic delights; Irish flair meets classical charisma when Tara McNeill (of Celtic Woman fame) and Alexander Bernstein join musical forces (11/13); and the pulsating beats of Latin American rhythms are front and center with the Juan Megna Trio (3/5).

Finally, the Hylton Family Series seeks to engage our youngest audience members (and the young at heart!). Enjoy everything from magic with Mario the Maker Magician (9/29) to storybook classics come to life. Joining the series this year is Artist-in-Residence Elena Moon Park & Friends (2/8), singing global children’s folk music with an emphasis on East and Southeast Asian traditions, plus original songs reimagined.

The best way to experience this season is with a subscription. Simply select three or more performances you’d like to attend to receive 15% off your order, as well as access to the best seats, no-fee ticket exchanges, and discounts all season long. Feel free to also utilize our subscription payment plan, which lets you spread out the cost of your subscription over several months.

While we hope you’ll consider joining us for multiple performances with your subscriber discount, tickets for individual performances go on sale August 1. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the Hylton Center for the 2024–25 season!
